Went there months ago. A woman working there tried to tell me a cockatiel that was clearly injured due to a terrible wing clip had been plucked by other birds. It was definitely not plucked, it had had its skin broken along its keel bone from crash landing. I was, however, told it was clipped that way by the breeder and not by the people at birdworld. It was perched on a stand in the middle of the shop which, whilst I'm aware a lot of places do the same thing, is not safe. Clipping a bird does not ensure flightlessness (unless clipped as badly as this one was). Also, they had two very sick birds housed in a cage surrounded by healthy birds. I asked what was wrong with them and they said they didn't know, their vet had apparently seen them a few times and couldn't figure it out. Anyone who knows anything about birds knows the importance of quarantining sick birds, and just because a specific diagnosis could not be provided did not make these birds any less sick. They were on the bottom of the cage, fluffed up and couldn't keep their eyes open.I wasn't impressed.

I have been going to birdworld since i was a kid and most of the staff there are like family to me. They have always looked after me and my birds no matter how busy they are. Always are very friendly and helpful too. I would highly recommend them to everyone.
